I found quite easy use software which enables me to done my image capturing in a very short time. I used to capture some images and edit it with photo editor to crop or to save my image. But, SnapIt Screen Capture save me from time and steps in order to has done my captured images. As some of my friends ask me before on how to crop and save the screen captured image. I would like to introduce and provide some guidelines in using this instead of using photo editing software which I told before.

SnapIt from Diegus Software is easy to use screen capture software which allows you to easily capture anything on the screen including windows, menus, full screen, rectangular regions, web pages and take shots of moving images. SnapIt’s icon will exist in system tray bar after you run it and the main menu will shown by right click on it.

In the properties setting, define your hot key for capture function. You can always check “auto save images to folder” when you want to save the images you captured with the prefix name, name generation, location images and image type you desire instead of save it one by one. This can save a lot of time especially you want to save a series of captured images. On the other hand, if you would like to save only few of series images, you can uncheck it and click on “save as” in main menu to save only the images you would like to save.

Properties Setting
To use it, press the hot key to capture. The cursor will now change to “+”. Hold the left mouse button and drag a rectangular marquee on the area you want to capture. Release the button and the captured image is saved to clipboard and saved in defined location if “Auto save images to folder” is checked. You can paste it on your documentation, blog, etc.
*If you would like to have full screen capture, right click to stop it after pressing the hot key.
